In Sint-Truiden’s station area, a figurative stone’s throw removed from Staaien and the city centre, Ciril together with the city is providing a new purpose for the former Gazometer site. The multifunctional project combines a youth campus and a welfare campus with 15 spacious apartments.
The apartments all received a spacious living room with an open plan kitchen. The apartments’ surface areas vary from 112 to 139m². Floor-to-ceiling windows attract abundant daylight into the 2- or 3-bedroom apartments. Empty nesters can transform any unused space into a craft room or an office area. The spacious terraces provide stunning views over the city centre or over Haspengouw’s famous slopes.
The apartments were conceived of by the renowned agency Achtergael architects. The designers provided the building with a brick architecture and placed the apartments in the tower at the head of the campus. The building is equipped with excellent insulation and a top of the bill ventilation system.
