Ciril takes a new step in sustainable mobility: for the first time, shared cars are being purchased directly by Ciril in one of our projects. In Brouwmeester, our newly completed and inhabited project in Werchter, we are joining forces with Battmobility. The electric shared cars are located in the center of Werchter, right next to the church, and are available both to residents of Brouwmeester and to people from the neighborhood. In this way, we strengthen mobility not only within the project but also for the wider community. 

Shared cars via Battmobility

At Ciril, we look beyond construction alone. Sustainability is at the heart of our projects, and we believe in the principle of sharing over owning. That is why we chose Battmobility as a partner: an organization that, just like us, sees mobility as a service that fits the living environment. The principle is simple: instead of owning a car yourself, you share one with others. You reserve a car when you need it through the app, drive it, and then return it. This way, you reduce costs and the number of cars on the street, while still remaining mobile.

How does it work? 

The cars are managed by Battmobility, ensuring smooth and fair use. Registration is easy online via Battmobility. The pricing model is transparent: you pay per trip and per kilometer, or you choose a fixed monthly driving credit. There are no hidden fees, only a one-time deposit at the start. A conscious choice has been made for a level playing field: both residents and neighbors pay the same rates. In this way, we strengthen the sense of community and make sustainable mobility accessible to everyone.
