At Democo, we go beyond the norm in our commitment to circular construction practices. A concrete example of this is our three-year research project, Mined2Rewind, supported by Innoviris, the Brussels Institute for Research and Innovation, and carried out in collaboration with Buildwise.

Mined2Rewind focuses on the large-scale reuse of construction materials such as wooden beams, steel profiles, raised floors, and insulation mats. The goal is to develop efficient procedures for harvesting materials from demolition sites and reusing them in new, standardized construction solutions according to circular principles.
