On Saturday 5 June, we organised an information event in Werchter for local residents and those living in Rotselaar. Indeed, we will shortly commence the building of a new project with the wonderful name Brouwmeester, meaning Master Brewer.
The name refers to the historic Jack Op brewery, whose warehouses once stood on the site. We acquired a number of warehouses on Beverlaak together with the rear plots and an adjoining piece of land on Sint Jansstraat. The large site will receive a complete make-over with 3 new residential buildings and a green public area at the heart of the site.
During the information event we informed residents about the impact of the works on local traffic and our efforts to minimise potential nuisance. An intelligent site circulation plan was presented, together with the rough timing of the activities.
We hope to start with building work in the autumn of 2021, once archaeological research on the site has been carried out.
On Friday 11 June we will kick off the sale of the residential units at Brouwmeester. We start with the first building, appropriately named 'Mout’ (malt).
Mout features 21 apartments with 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms on 4 construction levels. Each has a large terrace (some even have 2!) and the ground floor units have their own private garden.
There are also 2 semi-detached homes for sale. Both adjoin a side wall of Mout.
